Mike and Joe
Starting out as a duel acoustic proformance, Mike and Joe accidently land themselves in the music business. Mike Notaro and Joe Valentino met as undergraduates at Indiana University while living at the Theta Chi fraternity house. They began performing together informally as their fraternity serenade band and for IU college events. A friend signed them up for an open night at a bar called Peanut Barrel bringing them a regular friday night gig. As they grew they formed the band you see today. Word spread fast and after the years have produced several cd's. These guys really put it out there for their fans. They write their own but also play those great hits your heart always yurns to hear. Today Mike & Joe plays year round and is one of the most watched band in the Midwest. The four of them remain committed to entertaining those who have been watching us over the years, and to attracting the enthusiasm of new fans that discover them.
